Several of you offered some great suggestions. In particular, I wanted to thank Chtimulato and Thomas who offered many links and suggestions to explore. That I have done and continue to do so. In addition to the French Caribbean, I have been especially captivated by the Haitian influences. Initially out of my latin comfort zone, I feel like I've moved into a new world. Thanks again.
