Congas - Tumba, Conga, Quinto

It's only thanks to your help if we can improve our web-site so ... leave a message here!

The other night I saw a guy playing three drums, no big deal but he had the quito in the middle and the congas on the left with the tumba on the right. Is that something learned or just a preference. Being Right handed and as if you we're looking at a triangle my quinto would be bottom left the conga bottom right and the tumba at the top point. Hey was just wondering where and why you guys place your drums where you do.
Thanks

Welcome to the forums vrlopez, enjoy your stay, help yourself to some drinks and put your feet up! :D

As for the topic of the positioning of the drums, you will find its a matter of preference in relation to what works for the individual player. This will vary from your schooling and pattern execution/technique.

This very topic is covered in another thread found by CLICKING HERE!

Tell us more of your playing and your band/s if applicable.
