after reading all of this, i am inclined to respond as follows.
jc and many others are fantastic members and well respected players within this realm. there are many players out there that would be fantastic people to have available to share their thoughts and experience as musicians albiet folkloric, commercial and otherwise. we should also remember that there are the unsung heros as well who may be a little sheepish or removed that we all rely on who speak little. ah yes, the ones who provide the wonderful insruments which we play. is there a way to coax the makers of these wonderful percussion instuments to share their thoughts and expertise; afterall - in my book - they are celebs as well - just think of how many times their names appear here - or if not their name the names of the drums they make.

I agree with you,in relation to my experience,my biography have been available for sometime,I have been a pioneer in several fields of percussion, but I have never been questioned in relation to it....still sometimes I release some cookies here and there....and by now a world's known authority in Afrocuban Percussion and Music, but I also have articles about Jazz,Reggae,African,Caribbean, and Rock music.Dr. Zaragemca
