Has anyone purchased and played a set of congas called Resolution? These drums are made by Ralph Flores who is the son of Tom Flores, original Valje conga drums. Looking for some feedback. I'm interested in buying a set.

I think you can view them at http://www.resolutiondrums.com...they can restore your old and valuable Valje Drums, as well as offer you their drums which looks like the new age Valje's!

Alafia Abures!
Aloha Brudda MaSSivedrums!
I hope that you are all well and in an abundance of blessings!

I had a set of Valjes several years back, and the one bad thing about MY set was that the quinto came out of round. Yeah! It looked like an egg! Other than that though, the sound was flippen' incredible, and the drums were quite sturdy!

These Resolution drums look almost exactly like Valjes. They look pretty cool!

I still have my eyes on a set of "Monkeypods"! Oh yeah brudda!

Many blessings to you all!

Respect!
Onile!

Alafia Abure JC!
¿Cómo esta me socio?

I saw these drums on bongomania.com the first time and thought the same thing, they're a lot like the Valje drum. Have you had the pleasure of hearing or playing them? They look great!

Suave!

Aloha kini14,

Welcome to the Forum. Glad to see that you've found this place, where the Brothers and Sisters share valuable 411, and sometimes even make you laugh! I too, wouldn't mind owning a set of those Resolution Drums.

Aloha Brudda Onile,

You were very fortunate to own and play such fabulous drums such as Valje's. When me and my brother were finding our groove during the 70's we were fortunate to have Gon Bops to feed our crave, always dreaming of owning some Valje's! Now that I'm older with a decent paying job, I can reward myself with "toys" of my choice! I see that you crave da Monkeypod! Wise choice. The wood grain on those drums are WICKED! These are Tom's latest creations, and like you, I crave to get my hands on some of 'um!

Keep on Poundin'! maSSivdrums
