Giging at the last minute

Hola Rumberos, Yesterday was a very busy day. It started with a vist with the family to the rain forest,then a little time doing some construction work around the house. Suddenly around 1600hr my phone rang,was and urgent call from my Timbalero,there was a need of a pinch hitter salsa band to play at the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress ( I was suppose to work there as a Dj the same night ). After a few calls to get all the band members inform,we were ready to rumble. We started at 2300hr with a ballroom full of dancers. I am very satisfy with our performance, I mean we were kicking ass on that stage. I did my Dj participation and played with the band all in 1 night. I got home at 0130hr,went to bed a 0230hr,got up at 0500hr to go the work. Is going to be a very long day.

As I said in a previous post,it is warming up music wise for our band. We have another gig tomorrow night at a club named Jacklope Café,we will be there every Friday starting tomorrow.
