Songo patternSongo pattern on LP website - Who can figure that out?

I´ve listened to the songo ensemble audio track on the LP webiste, but I can´t figure out the conga part. Can anyone else? It´s cool but so different from the ones I know.

Hi Mike,
It sounds like that conga pattern is playing this (written in 2-3):

C.S..STT.CCT..TC

C = conga open tone
S = conga slap
T = tumba open tone

The tumba open tone plays ponche and bombo.

This is not the Changuito pattern, but I like it too.

BTW some months ago they had the groove as a downloadable mp3 on the LP website, but now you can´t ssave it any longer. Pity!

Hi Mike,
Think of it as the Matanzas segundo part. The other conga tones play a fragment of a typical quinto phrase.
