I have searched the net for the answer to this question but came up empty handed. I have a set of Meinl Luis Conte series congas and am trying to find info to see if A synthetic head will fit my congas . I am really wanting the fiberskyn head. I have called several drum shops for the answer to my question but I am unable to get a direct answer. The congas have a traditional style rim. I hope someone can help me with this. I currently have the heads that came with the drums but I am not to pleased with the sound. Also the part of the world that I live in is really humid and is hard to tune to a good sound
Your help is needed. Thank you
Dantino

This sounds as if synthetic heads could be a great help for you indeed.
Even if I don´t know about the Meinl Conte and haven´t got first-hand experience with the Fiberskyn heads for congas, I would recommend this type of skin.
From what I heard they should be OK for you.
Having looked into the REMO catalogue, though, it seems as if there´s no Fiberskyn type number mentioned for the Meinl model you play. So I am afraid you should get informed by someone else, in another store or - hopefully - on this forum.

All the best
