Return of Valje!

I received a call from Ralph Flores today, Ralph is the son of Tom Flores, the creator of Valje drums.

Anyways Ralph said he has been able to purchase the Valje name back as LP did not register it this year.

Soon Ralph will be making Valje drums again, as well as offering his current Resolution models.

I ordered Resolution congas and a bongo about 7 months ago and they are due next week. The main difference is Resolution congas are 1" shorter, have the belly placed a little lower, and the sides above the belly are a little straighter. Also they were previously made without a metal bottom band (mine will have his band however).

Ralph started telling me about all the famous bands that have used Valje drums, such as Santana, Elton John, Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Well I for one am really excited about that news. Ralph is such a nice guy to talk to and I hope he does really well now that he has his Dad's Valje name. I just can't wait to see pictures of the first real Valjes to come out in such a long time since Tom Flores. Thanks for that nice piece of info BNB.
