Thoughts on upgrading for a 'recreational' conguero

I definitely overstretched the American bison on my Gon Bops. You can see the white at the edges. I can't really remember how this happened, but it was probably from tuning them up too soon. The good thing is that they still sound great and much better that the original skins that were still on them and were pretty much toast.

Thanks for all the advise and taking time to post. I am happy with the tone of my Matadors now. I was able to get the skins to sit better...it's still not perfect, but they play well and sound great!
