Ibiono Project: A new class by Roman Diaz & Yesenia Selier

Postby jorge » Sun Jul 17, 2011 12:40 am

This promises to be a great series of classes in NYC at the Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts (Boys & Girls Harbor). Roman is teaching percussion, including bata, rumba, and other AfroCuban musical forms. Yesenia is teaching dance, including orishas, rumba, and other folkloric dance forms.
I can personally vouch that Roman is a top level percussionist and excellent percussion teacher, and Yesenia is an excellent dance teacher. This is an incredible opportunity to learn AfroCuban percussion or dance or both, right here in NYC. Highly recommended. Please spread the word. Tuesdays from 6 to 9.
