Gone are the Palladiums I had! They were traded in for my new drums as part of the deal.
Got new LP Classics in dark red/wine finish (though they look light in the pics) 1 x tres golpes (11.75" conga) and 1 x 12.5" Tumba, LP stands, LP Generation III bongo, Protection Racket bags all round, LP bells, sticks, heads etc, Pearl folkloric range Chango chekere.
To come still, another 2 LP congas (1 x 11.75" and 1 x 12.5") in matching finish and matching stands etc.. with protection racket bags etc also! Plus a few extra goodies.. :;):
Very happy with them, great sound, crisp, nice body, great projection and a million times lighter than the Palladiums!
Congrats, those congas are sweet man!! Love that finish! I recently traded my fiberglass Galaxys towards a set of green classics, and I couldn't be happier. The sound of the classics is better than anything I've heard. Be sure to post more pics when you add the other 2 drums. Here's a pic of my babies:
The new tubs look great, man. I got a good deal on a set of four Palladiums, and the weight was something I hadnt taken into account and was thinking I had made a mistake, but after changing the skins for mules, I am going to the gym so I can haul them easier (as if) They sound awsome now they are playing in. Where i used to use LP Originals with Nuskins, these are just as loud but with fantastic projection and great tone. I hope the back stands up to it. Was that a straight swap? If so Palladiums were a great investment.
Deadhead,
Nice setup. Think about putting mules on them, Isaac does them already mounted. They rock!!
