Greetings! I never know just what to put in these things. I think it must be my erratic, eccentric, short-attention span, and often mind-bogglingly disjointed cognitive functioning that feeds this problem. I shall try some basic information: Place of residence: Holbrook, Australia (remote, rural, and with the highlight of being home to a submarine despite the fact that we are 6 hours inland). Occupation: student or (as my father likes to call it) professional sponge Studying: Bachelor of Arts with a psychology major, and minors of philosophy and visual culture. I am currently looking into studying teaching once I graduate. Music in my life: After a slow start to life, an inevitable repercussion of growing up on a farm, I have recently begun delving deeper into the world of percussion and pursuing my love of music. Somehow growing up in outback Australia surrounded by nature has resulted in a love of percussion, acoustic, natural sounds. I have a real interest in bongos and cannot wait to become immersed into this world. One of the greatest things about university life is that it has provided me with the opportunity to meet and listen to really unique musicians that fuel my love.
