About me

I play and build hand drums in the San Francisco bay area. I own a pair of 1977 Mahagony GonBops Congas that I purchased new in 1977.

I build Ashiko-type drums with Goatskin heads that sound like Djembes or with Cowhide skins that sound like Congas. I build 10 inch, 11 inch and 12 inch drums that are 28 inches high, perfect height for seated playing.
