About me
My name is Jason Mercado, I am a professional drummer and percussionist currently living in The Twin Cities, Minnesota. I am originally from New York, NY and raised in Philadelphia where I had many opportunities to study and play with what I would consider some of the finest musicians in the world. I own a drum school called The House of Groove where we teach an average of 50 students a week. I also play in a band called Under The Covers, a top 40 band that performs throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. I have BA and MA degrees and I was a member of both The United States Navy Band and Marine Band. Please check out my website www.thehouseofgroove.com.
