About me
BongoMuzik! Music is food for your soul! My name is Dan. I live in the midwestern US. I'm in my early 30's. I love a great variety of music, from rock to jazz, electronic music, progressive rock, reggae, country, folk music, Santana, Hendrix, latin Jazz, hawaiian music, and many many more! I enjoy my familia, pets, good books, guitars, ukuleles, electric bass, drum machines, synths, drums, and whatever I can get a chance to play!! I have played music since I was 13 years old and began learning guitar from my uncle Ronnie, who sadly passed away a couple years later. I was left his Fender stratocaster after his passing and had a fender jazz bass at the time! I think the first instrument I played was my Casio synth when I was maybe 5 to 7 years old in 1985 roughly!! I bought a pair of bongos around the late 90's but was too busy with my bass and my band so it went to the backburner and I sold them, a fiberglass set of Toca's that I got for about 80 bills. Recently I have wanted to get away from the strings and learn some hand drums so I bought a Meinl Cajon Bongo to learn on! I love the energy in latin music and wish to learn more about grooves and rhythms! My you tube channel! Please check out my videos!
