null Grew up in the Bronx, learning to play congas in the streets and parks. One of my neighbors were the Gonzalez family, parents of Andy and Jerry. They both went on to become world famous Latin and Jazz musicians. Conga playing has been part of my life for 50 years! (Although it seems like yesterday I was back in The Bronx). Outlasted three wives. Started with LP 1970 style fiberglass Classics. Went to various wood models. Now I'm playing LP Salsa's as well as a GomBop Requinto. I'm currently awaiting a PM Percussion requinto from Pete Musser in Northern California. Pete is making one to my specs. I play in a local Salsa band, as well as produce for another band. Salsa Siempre!
