Wow! Your friend is a great singer!!
Hey is that you in the video on your myspace page playing congas? Nice video about working with a band and everyone adding different decisions to make a final piece,, which plays over through the band working out parts.. very cool!

Congrats on the Cuba trip!!
By the way, I know Rumbakua. The guy playing tumba my close friend Charley Rivas! On tres dos, it's Rafael. Charley always went to visit his friend in Gainesville...I guess putting two and two together, it must be your teacher!
Also, thanks for letting me be a part of the album. Very cool experience!
BTW, I sent Carlos an email regarding the festival in march. Hope to hear from him today.
cheers
Quinto Governor II wrote:Thanks! Changuiri, Good post. I especially enjoyed the Rumbakua video. I was inspired to work harder on singing and playing clave simultaneously when I, not long ago, came across some videos of 2 of the members. It's nice to see them perform, in the context of a full ensemble. They are very good players.
Here's one that you may like. This is a first for me - (Cubans playing Bomba) one of the top groups no less - Afro-Cuba de Matanzas.
