Hey guys,

we had a long weekend in Sydney, and over this weekend we had the Darling Harbour Fiesta latino festival. (4 day festival)
Also after parties and a few other performances.
We did 9 gigs over 3 days/nights with 2 of my bands.
One band is our hip/hop-funk-ska-reggae-timba group and the other is our Timba group.

Very busy weekend for me, hands are throbbing after all the gigs, after parties and countless rumbas we had in on the bay, at the clubs, and car parks.

Here, Im playing quinto up front, with Carlos (lead singer/percussionist) on Iya (bata) in an afro cuban jazz fusion with bata/quinto and drums in 6/8 over acid jazz chords of guitar, rhodes, keyboards, bass and horns in 4/4.

Festival after party gigs...

Here we did a gig with our band and fellow Sydney timba band 'Havana Club'.

Seen in the pic from Club Havana, playing timbales is Tonio, one of the most advanced multi percussion/drummer in Australia and my bro.

Laurent on congas, also a great conga player.
