Hah... I know that one. I have several variations of it. Though it is written backwards. I learned it in 2/3 looks like it was done for 3/2 in that image.

This is a very good pattern.

Welcome rumbaman :D

I think you must be talking to me sint I dont think rumberos posted any patterns (sorry if I am incorrect, I mean no offence rumberos). Either way, thanks :D I have been looking at the site a little in the past few days. I work on a computer so it is very nice to have a place online like this to share percussion information :)

I must have a good name... everyone in here is rumba this or rhumba that. I've been using rhumbatumba at boards for a long time.

I have many patterns locked in my head that I can share. Though I have getting away from the patterns lately and am trying to use just the concepts. I still welcome the new ideas... I have been playing with a jazz/funk/world fusion band for the last 3-4 weeks and I'm trying to give them more of an afro cuban flavor and not so much just inserting an authentic afro cuban rhythm into their sound.

Good to meet you :p (these faces are fun hehe)

This last one posted by Rumbaman, is somewhat similar to the first one in the Congabook by Changuito, except the second measure varies a little.

I have heard Tata Guines and Patato each do something that sounds real siimilar to that one also (the Changuito version in the Congabook), except they seem to play it with a slap on 2+ in the second measure (3 side of the clave).. If these guys like it, I would say that would be one to concentrate on.
