Thank you for asking about the youngsters...

Let me tell just that, that youngsters that I work with, we made some cajons, I tought them basic strokes, and later after a week we made our own composition, which was based on African rhythm called Muri Baya Sa (don't quote me on that spelling)
We did that to make a cultural program when we opened doors of the house which we got for our program, to public (you know, presenting the projects that we do...)
Our playing blew our and minds of important people (also my boss, which was negging me half a year ago... :angry: )
The youngsters got their spine and knowledge that they can do a lot, or even better, more, with themselves.
Fortunately, since then (15. march) we got two performances more (one on opening of our photo project and other on an opening of photo exhibition of famous english rock festival Glastonbury festival in the capitol...

Sometimes hard but also very rewarding to me!
