Look for DP Daito Percussion out of Germany.
they are out of bussines, but you can still find some around and not as costly.
Those congas are made where most of the other are, the only thing that changes is name and hardware.

Amor, paz y rumba.

I don't think it matters. The region of the conga where most of the sounds are produced is no larger than 3-4 inches (where you're supposed to hit it... 1-2 inches off the rim).

Besides, Giovanni Hidalgo has notoriously small hands...I saw him playing and have shaken hands with him, and he's got small hands...and he's the world's best.

It's more important to learn WHERE and HOW to hit a conga, than hand size.

Saludos Ecuarumba,I guest I have to deliver the news to you,the small hands might not be a factor in a lot of instruments but it is on piano and guitar, you would be able to play the instrument but,(the reach of large fingers allows to articulate some chromatic chords when you have those extra inches.Dr. Zaragemca

I got small hands, my right is scarred and my little finger has nerve damage. I never even thought about stopping because of it, maybe I'll never be as good as >insert favourite Conguero< . Maybe I'll never be any good full stop...but I'll do it anyway because I love it..

I have short wide hands. I always thought my requinto would serve me better, or in more ways if I could get my wide hands closer together without hogging up the whole drum (flamm for example). I'll never know, because these are my hands. Use those small hands and play away!

God bless!
