This is when synthetic heads become handy. Better projection, no worries about weather conditions messing around with your drums tuning etc. Right now, you don't need to invest on fiberglass drums unless you really want to invest on some. Just get some synthetic heads and mount them on your LP Classics. I do that all the time, switching from traditional animal skins to synthetics depending on the gig. Another thing to take in consideration make sure you are properly miked. I know you are concern about your drums sounding the best as possible we all do, but don't forget about yourself my friend. Drink plenty of water and fluids to keep you hydrated, if you don't feel good and don't take care of yourself, you can have the best sounding drums in the world and still sound bad.
