Thanks to Abure Olsongos' technique, it made mounting the skins so much easier, since I always do this part by myself....

You've done well! :D

However you need more light for them indoor shots!
Drums look fantastic.
Is that mule skin you've used?
Tremendo trabajo.

Outdoor shots look awesome... I demand an outdoor shot of all the drums!

Great stuff Tony.

Alafia Abure Solo!
I hope that you are well my brother!

I actually just put my 14" Supertumba on my bathroom scale, and although there was a previous challenge with the use of it in another post, it showed that the Supertumba weighed 42lbs.

I definitley believe that they are heavier than almost any other drum on the market at this time. I could be wrong though, I don't own, nor have I seen every drum thats out there but I'm working on it. He! He! He!

Many blessings!

Onile!

very nice work onile, very nice!

i've always disliked the look of the wood on the gio congas, on any of his congas...thats not to say the drum itself is not good, but the look of it, no good, you've done well...and thank God for changing the skin...

peace

Onile, great job ... you have a nice "family" :D

I have 2 drums I want to re-finish,
did you sand it by hand, what grade of sand paper did you use? Also did you sand it all the way to the wood?

Thanks
