The business card had Junior Tirado's address and phone number in it. Junior died earlier this year after having been in a coma since late 2003. I'm offering the Iya because I have 5 Junior congas and 2 pairs of bongos.I don't use the bata these days, that's why I'm letting it go. I doubt you'll find another. Is very rare and unique.Enclosed see a picture of Junior with his congas.
Saludos, Dario

Junior never had a shop,he work out of a basement in the building in Brooklyn where he lived ,that's where his workshop was.I think towards the end,2003, Junior was paying like $200 a motnh to use the basement as a workshop to make his drums.
The Iya is still available,I've reduced the price to $530.

The lighter set that Junior is sitting behind were made by him, made out of ash.At the beginning of the post, the ones shown with the bata are my Skin on Skin.
Regarding Timba congas,I had a set that were nice but not as nice as Juniors or Skin on Skin,I ended up selling them on Ebay. Saludos, Dario :D
