I've been listening to all sorts of stuff. Here are a few of the things I've been listening to.

Strunz and Farrah. Fantaseo

Many Los Van Van recordings. These were given to me by a friend and are unlabled. I neither know the album or tune names.

Sara Tavares. Balance. It's just an Afro pop type recording but I find it very enjoyable.

Tom Zé. Various recordings including Fabrication Defect: Com Defecto De Fabricacao. Jogos De Armar. Estudante O Pagode

Tomatito. Paseo de los Castaños

Badi Assad. Various. Verde. Rhythms

Pete Lockett. Pete Lockett's Network of Sparks Featuring Bill Bruford

Susana Baca. Travesias

Airto Moreira. Life after that

Julia Sarr - Patrice Larose. Set Luna

Trio Beyond. Saudades

Olodum. Various. Filhos Do Sol. 20 Anos. Pela Vida. Popularidade

Moussa Traoré. Mali Foli

Muzenza. A Liberdade E Aqui

Poncho Sanchez. Latin Soul

Rodrigo Y Gabriela. Rodrigo Y Gabriela

Carlinhos Brown. Various. Omelete Man. Bahia do Mundo. Alfagamabetizado. Carlinhos Brown Es Carlito Marron

Ayman Bashir Al-Yamani. Dhykrayat

Not your average Latin compilation.. Classic mambo's, brand new Reggaeton, chilled out Tango beats, weird stuff, etc...

Hey guys,
Right now I'm listening to a track called La Calabaza by Muñequitos from their album, Oyelos De Nuevo. This is off the wall! Much respect to all the rumbero groups out there but in my opionion, no one can touch Muñequitos! No one. Que rumba tan heavy.

I have been listening to Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe "El Juicio". I dig that old school style and sound. I was too young to hear the Fania classic salsa so I guess I am rediscovering the classic music of when my parents were coming up. It is interesting to see Willie Colon with his thug image because I have never really seen him that way. Calle Luna Calle Sol is a great classic track that tells it like it is. Milton Cardona did some really great and interesting conga playing. The more I hear the more I enjoy it!
