Bought myself a new set up this weekend , meinl marathon classics , I got the 11" quinto 11 3/4 conga and 12/12 tumba , Im very pleased with them just need to break them in now , My hands feel like a pluverised steak at the moment , but its all good steak hands :D

Spread some Arnica lotion on those hands, helps the healing process, get it at a health food store, it works good!

These drums are a million miles better than the headliners i have . wife is getting a little concerned our home has become the house of drums :D " her words " :p

Hey congadelica how are you . I started on meinl marathons . I had them for about 8 years they are great drums . THe heads are buffalo but i had no problem with them . They always sounded good for me i have very good memories about those drums hope you do also. They are good drums enjoy them .
