Has anyone tried out the Pearl Cata? Appears nice, but whays up with the stand? It deosn't even look like its attached, or does it just sit on the 2 rods?
I could make my own, but have no way of mounting/stand.

Yea, easy to make.

I got a plant vase - large bamboo from cost plus. cut the bottom out. I play it between the legs, but its easily mountable.

Looks to me like the one in the photo is mounted by two thin twine "straps" that go over it.

Well going by this piccy, it looks like it just sits on the 2 rods, isolated by the rubber bands, maybe it flips over the rods underneath?

Hey Mike, I just checked out the price of the Cata, and for the price, its a no brainer. $25 bucks. For the price of the stand/holder itself, no contest.

Off to get one :;):
