Blango, :)

Sorry, but I'm kinda slow at moment. Which master are you talking about?

Just curious, :D

Johnny, my apologies-- I misunderstood your comments the first time, and guess I wasn't in the best of moods when I read it.

If you'll look carefully at the Bubinga Conga , you'll
notice in the details that it's actually a Matthew Smith (Ritmo) creation.
Frederico is likely just reselling his conga.
Below is from his listing in a Music Trade Magazine:

FREDRICO PERCUSSION : The company offers Wah-Wah shakers, Zango shakers, large cowbells, frottoirs (Zydeco rub-boards), skin maracas, dumbeks, bubinga bongos, Ritmo congas, and singing quartz crystal bowls."

Ahhh... I wondered about the visual similarity between the two....

Anyone know Matthew's pricing on the bubinga stuff?

Hey guys,

I'll put my neck on the line and bet anything that the congas shown were made by Matthew Smith. Matthew made a bubinga snare drum that Mario and I sold for him on Ebay. I'll bet my left nut (cojon izquierdo). Just look at the details, hardware, sideplates, crown. If that's not a Matthew Smith conga, then Santa Claus is for real !
You can't show new tricks to an old dog like me.

Yes,

..it reads clearly on hs promotional material that he sells Ritmo drums.

He's not trying to hide it.
