Is the LATIN PERCUSSIONIST MAGAZINE published by Victor Rendon still around? I´d like to subscribe to it, but I can´t find any substantial information on the Net.
Any input is welcome!

Don't know, but Latin Beat is www.lbmo.com

And I've got a big stack of back issues if anyone wants to pay for shipping, I'll send a big ol' bundle to you.

Thanks for the info, Jorge!

And I´m thinking of subscribing to the Latin Beat magazine - looks and sounds good, judging from the webiste. Any experiences of the fellow congueros?

Mike

P.S.: My 400th post - wow, time for a little descarga in my study room - work can wait....

Windhorse, I think I'd like to take you up on the offer of the magazines. Please shoot me a PM with the shipping costs (media mail cheapest???) to zip 92315. Thanks!

Hey Whoop, it's 33 magazines, and the size without box is 9"x11"x3"

and it feels like about 10 lbs, though I'm not a good judge about weights, I could be off by a factor of 50%! But, it feels like at least a kilogram - which I do have some idea about.

I'll have to box it up and weigh it so you can get the exact cost.
