Hi all,

Has anyone had any experience with using the online ordering at musikhaus thomann?

Their prices look competitive and will deliver free to the UK - just want to know if anyone has any comments, good or bad...

Cheers!

PS. I need to post more - I'm not that junior

Yes I have frequently ordered stuff from Thomann - and they have a good customer service and fair prices indeed. I prefer paying in advance which accelerates the shipping process if you send them a hardcopy of your online bank payment.
Well, and if you are not satisfied, there´s usually no problems with returning the purchased items.
So my two thumbs up for them.

Footnote: Of course it´s a very big dealer with lots of mass production garbage. A newbie will buy the wrong things. But if you know what you´re looking for - go for it! The prices are unbeatable (in Germany at least).
Peace & drum

Good pricing but they are without VAT, so add that in when you compare

Cheers Diceman, Mike.

Ordering an LP Classic tumba to complete my set - and some rubber feet. Price comes in at 352GBP without the VAT - just short of 400GBP with....

Still looks better than what my local store can do me.....

If you're looking in the english version, then the prices include VAT.
A while ago I ordered a tamborim and bongo bag together with other people (to economise on shipping cost) and everything worked out just fine.

Yeah, VAT is included. I don´t know about the shipping costs.
In Germany it´s for free... if you buy above a certain price level :;):

ho

i ordered yesterday (thursday) at about 2 pm.
this morning (friday, 11.30 am) the stuff was brought by the postman.
wonder, how they managed to handle my order that fast.
never had any problems with thomann, bought plenty of the elektrix for my studio there.
in germany many of the musicstores offer the same prices like thomann, if you just ask. i prefere buying round the corner, if possible.
but thomann is ok.

greets
