Ironman,
I second your assertion...on Matthew's drums...the only thing i add, is that i have a junior tirado drum, and thats the gauge that i use to measure all drums and matthews drums is right on par, but not better than juniors!!! the crazy thing is that up until a year and a half ago Matthews prices were pretty much rock bottom, at 425-500 a drum!!! I called him a couple of months after i recieved the 500 drum from him and sadly he told me that the price went up to 700 bones....needless to say its probably worth the price, but damn its hard to pay almost 300 over what i originally paid, and the junior drum was 500 as well, glad i got them when i did....thanks for the pics...

Ironman who do you play with in NYC? the younger crowd? Felix Sanabria?

2 years ago, you couldve purchased just about any custom drum for $500. or so.
i guess those days are long gone.
but its well worth it, no regrets.
