Here's my set. They didn't come as a set, but they are all fiberglass, from LP and all made during the Palisades Park period of LP. I guess they also have matching skins sourced from blango.
I had at one time 5 Timbas, I had 4 Galaxy, Now my setup is 4 Volcano Percussion Congas - Quinto, Conga, Tumba and Super Tumba. I also have a set of Vintage Latin Percussion Conga and Tumba
I have 2 sets of 3 Gon Bops. Requinto, conga, conga in oak and requinto , conga, super tumba in mohogany. I'm not sure of the dates(anyone know how to read the serial #'s) and 2 of the Mohogany badges were unreadable when I got them (I have since refinished them and left them off completely). I'll try to post some more pics soon( must resize them).
Quinto, conga and tumba shell from Drumskulls with stainless steel hardware from Moperc that I mounted myself. Headed with African cow. If I can include bougarabous I also have 3 from Drumskulls.
That's the most well matched set of mismatched congas I've seen.
You are so right, BnB  Sound is what matters. I don´t give a .... on the difference in look. Believe it or not, their sounds fit together perfectly! (with the Gio quinto with mule skin being outstanding)
Note: If I am ever to buy another, new or used, set of congas I will probably go for matching matches :;):
