Hello CongaPlace members. I was wondering if anyone knows of any magazines devoted to the congas? Or what percussion magazine does the best job covering conga drums.

Aloha Mike,

Latin Beat Magazine has a "Percussion Madness" issue that comes out every March ( I think) that has many articles on drums and Conguero's from the West and East side.
By the way, mahalo for the great CD's. My steering wheel is getting a work out with a thumpin' at work! :p

Keep on Poundin'... Aloha, maSSivdrums

Aloha maSSivdrums,

How was the concert? I am glad you are enjoying the Music. Thanks for the information on Latin Beat. I had a subscription to it when it first came out. I will watch for the Percussion Madness issue.

Mahalo

Gallichio ,

In the latin beat magazinewebsite you can verify old issue that show up Changuito, Poncho Sanchez, Giovanni Hidalgo and some other percussionist.
