Recipe for Ethereal Jam

Ingredients:
Roots
Flesh
Nuts
Fruit
Leafy Greens

Directions:
Take root of your choice (guaguanco, bembe, yesa....), and squeeze it til juice comes out. Don't worry about the juice, it's ethereal. It disappears when you stop squeezing the root. The juice will not stain the clothes, only the mind.
Now your gonna need some flesh. I'd suggest bass or a big cajon. This will help hold the flavor of the root juice steady.
At this point your mixture should be a smooth consistency. A little too smooth for my tastes. Maybe it's time for some nuts. My favorites are singers and dancers. Nuts really help break up the underlying texture.
Now, what would any jam be without fruit? Your gonna need some tools to harvest the fruit. I like to use a big hoe blade or an old cowbell. I like to recruit lots of friends to help with the harvest too.
Simmer these ingredients in a large area with a lot of people. You will know when the ethereal jam is complete when people start dancing.
You may notice you still have leafy greens left over from the ingredient list. If the root juice stops coming out, just sprinkle the leafy greens on the root. This is an optional ingredient, and helps preserve the flow of the root juice.
