Resolution congas, like Valjes just newer.
Actually they are an inch shorter. Great volume and sound from
the oak, but a nice light drum. Ralph put some really nice skins on them.
I'm busy breaking them in everyday, but I got these 3 and a set of bongos so it's going
to take a while, something to look forward too.

I'm digging the hardware and the shape.....it's cool that he's kept that whole Valje profile going.

I wouldn't say you're getting out much right about now. It must be like being on honeymoon! :)

Oh yeah, quiet as a mouse around here!
They are sounding great, plenty of volume, I can get slaps with a tap of my fingers, just the perfect
amount of sustain, and they are light too. I trip on them because they are like
Valje's but brand new. Valjes haven't been made since the 80's, so whenever you see one they
are like 20 years old.

Hey man, how's Manchester! I miss that place, especially going out in Castleford Quays.
or watching the test matches out at Old Trafford.
