Barrow stand for percussions

Postby congalou » Thu May 15, 2008 2:15 pm

Hello guys !

It has been a while since I've wrote on the forum !

Here is photos of my Mobile "Barrow" percussion's stand. I have build it first for drums elements and I have try to put percussions on it.

I wear it with a windsurf harness. I have don't try to walk with the percussions but with my drums and cymbals, it's great !!!

Not too shure it's OK with congas.... maybe with LP's compact !

Gaël.

Hello Chupacabra, I will try to post a video this week. You don't know wire pedal ?, lots of drummers have this to put charley were they want. This one is a Yamaha, very good equipment.
When I walk, I put the pedal back and play the charley closed with the hand.

I admit I have never before seen the wire pedal! I could see how it would have all kinds of interesting applications though. One would be if you happen to be sleeping in bunk beds for weeks or months at a time and the person in the bunk above or below you snores really loud you could rig one of these charleys up to the bass drum mallet and bonk 'im in the head whenever he wakes you up!
