be very carefull with the work behind timba percussion , i had a full set of theses i had them less than a year & all four drums cracked on me in a number of different places , they are beautifull ~ no dought & they sound good , but the truth be told that they are not built well , in fact another freind of mine out in the bronx has a set of 5 & over time 4 out of the 5 cracked in alot of places , i also wanted to mention that all my drums were still under warranty & silvia cunningham of timba percussion acted far from proffessional about the whole situation , she realy did me dirty , i wish this guy the best with his auction , but at the same time i would hate to see someone end up with there feelings hurt after spending long cash on a set of drums ...
one more thing i wanted to mention was that i know people who own timbas in the outer states like cali & florida & miami , & have no problem but out here in new york or jersey , come winter & the shells timba make realy suffer & dont hold up , i think they are not worth the money the company pushes for , once again be very carefull with timba percussion ...
here is a few pics of the set i had ... jaisen ... the last pic is a pic of my ash junior tirados with my oak timbas
