A Newbie on the "Congas" need help with Tuning!

Hello guys,
I picked up my first conga set a couple of days ago and Im really lookin foward to learning how to play. I purchased an instructional video(Essence of playing congas) to get me started. I'm still confused about the tuning of congas. I dont have access to a keyboard so how would you go about tuning it. Are there any links in which one could "Hear" diff. tunings or guide me in the right direction. Any other pointers for a beginner will be greatly appreciated...Thanx!
