Not sure on the quality of these since I'm a newbie but here's a link for these with pics.

Anybody have experience with these drums? I am looking to get me a drum that sounds good but is affordable as well. The options I have come to are Toca Traditionals, Gon Bop Tumbao Pro or Meinl Luis Conte. Unless I can get my hands on an old Matador or CP. Those drums sound good for the worth. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

I own a set of these, they are a slightly newer model that has at least one difference I can see from the photo.
My set has rubber inserts between the mounting hardware and wood.
These drums are built like a tank and they look great up close.
The traditional rims and hardware have a very detailed, brushed burnt finish adding to the rugged look.

They are really good drums for the money.
I paid $385 US for my new set (quinto & conga) that came with a stand that matched the hardware.

Here is a link with a large photo and more info.

Those Toca Traditionals sure look like some very nice drums indeed!

What are the skins like though?

My buddy has a set of these. i really like them. traditional rims, Great bass tones and the skins sound and feel great. I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't water buffalo. The only quam i have with them is the collar. There just seems to be too much space between the bearing edge and the rim. But that really has no effect on the sound.
