First time I hear of this...

If the freezing of heads works, is it then possible to freeze the head flat, take it out and then "work" it by creasing and rolling it while still frozen?

I guess the ice crystals would break or destroy the fibres of the skin - I cannot imagine this will work.
At least I would not do it!
