Here is a photo of when Felcher offered them to me, it was Feb. 2008, it will be a year next month. I opted for the Timbas Ismael (photo on my previous post) which I consider a more reputable desirable set of congas, being a very established name.

Dario or does anyone have more info on the RTP company, Like where in Colombia is the company located, are they still in existence. ?? No info on the net that I know of.

Based on my research tonight, I have discovered something rather interesting on this congas and their makers.
I want you to look at the pics. that I will post comparing the hardware. I have asked some percussionist in Colombia if they heard of RTP and no one seem to know anything. On a recent post for a set of Colombian Percussion congas I couldn't happen but notice that the RTP harware and the Cp percussion are the same. Could this be the same company and decided to change their name or RTP went out of buss. and Cp bought their design

There are RTP bongos, guiros ,cowbells, timbale sticks, maracas, claves, etc...all high quality...but again ,no info about their wood or the company....????

Callao I see that the add promotes a store on the west coast as Ritmo Tropical, could it be that the instruments are made in the same company, but stamped different? I new of a company In Europe Supercussion, they would by all kinds of instruments from different makers and have them marked with the same Supercussion logo.
