Yes, that is me. I've already gotten some flack from Abure Abakua regarding sending him my "Ritmos" which are in the background, since apparently I'm not using them anymore. Ha! ha! ha!

I was goofing around with them a bit last night and thought I'd post a video to try and capture the sound they produce.

Here is someone new on his graduation recital on Congas and perc. Mannheim Germany has a "Latin Music School" where I believe he graduated from ...once again A LATIN MUSIC SCHOOL IN 'MANNHEIM GERMANY'??? WOW!... ...when i lived there in the early 70's there was no such thing....Johnny Conga

I knew Madamo first from NYCity at the time he was with Puente as in the video above. I believe he was with Puente for about 3 years or so..I believe he recorded on Carnival In Harlem and a few others with Puente...then I ran into him in L.A. in the 80's and he was playing with the Johnny Nelson Orch. and others. I believe he is now back in Puerto Rico....Jorge?.....Johnny Conga

I'm not sure of his where about this days. He also was a member of the Willie Rosario Orchestra in which he played güiro.
