LP CLASSICS CONGA AND TUMBA 4 SALE (SOLD)

Postby Omelenko1 » Wed Apr 01, 2009 1:41 am

I'm letting go a set of LP Classics Conga and Tumba wood from 1995. Chrome hardware, some superficial scratches from playing but no splits. I had a local artist do some zebra effect on them a few years ago. These sound great and are professional congas, will sell cheap. Anyone starting out, this set is all you'll ever need. I use these and leave my Ritmos, SOS and Juniors at home, they sound just as good. If you are also looking for a great sounding 2nd set, you can beat these. I'll take $399, I think these go for over $900 plus tax. If you're in So. Florida come and pick them up.

Maybe because I used a Polish camera! Is this a photography class ? There is a phrase in my profession, "substance over form". The substance is 2 Classic congas in used but good condition that sound good as hell for a great price $399, when they go for over $1,000 in the stores. Much better option than new Aspires or Meinl Marathons any day.
I'll try using my Cuban made camera today to see if the pictures improve. Ha Ha.

Good price. If you could teleport them to Australia I'd probably buy them!

Thank you and your wife for your hospitality it was a pleasure spending time with you in your home and sharing your thoughts and memories of some great musicians that are no longer with us. Your collection of drums is absolutely beautiful. I have already begun to work on the congas and I'm sure you will be proud of the transformation I give them I will post pics very soon.

Jeeeez what a great joke!!! Really good...I'm crying and laughting all the time!

Why you are so upset?
You have very good congas, but you also have very bad camera (made in China I presume-like everything).

By the way: I would like to know how congas looks like before buying it...

I'm never upset, conga players are happy people.
In answer to your question above, they look like Polish sausages.

Is all joking. No ill intent. If you look at the post from the beginning, Victorius from Poland, made a remark that the photos were terrible and very pink. As a joke I said "I must have used my Polish camera". It was meant as a joke. I had a Polish American girlfriend years ago that was a real knockout! I love Polish sausages, Polish beer and Polish women. Viva Polonia!
