so far i can tell you the tumba sounds incredible it sounds better than my other tumba which really makes me happy. I managed to save the LP name plate I am debating on whether or not toput it back on they have a couple of dings and scratches in them but I think they may add to the character of the drums or I can try to see if i can locate new plates for the drums.

Thanks for the comments Steven. Yeah I'm more than likely going to leave them off the drums. I'm pleased with the way they are turning out I wanted something different I could have made them look really glassy like they do from the factory but i didn't want that look for these congas I wanted them to still show signs of past use.
