Nice find congamyk. What is that pattern Cardona is playing? It reminds me of one of the parts to Makuta as taught by Micheal Spiro on his 'Conga Master Class' website, or Is it a bata pattern? It sounds so familiar. Nice video. Another way to play columbia. How would you classify the bell pattern, anyone? Thanks!

Laurent Lamy, Thanks. I can easily recognize the pattern played by Gonzalez as columbia, but the tumba pattern sounds like something else to me. Not a pattern that I have ever heard in a columbia.

Quinto G, that Tumba pattern is a basic bembe ride being played on the one of clave. I've heard people do this once or twice before.. Sounds cool that way doesn't it?
