HI - I am looking for some notation for comparsa breaks. I want to play some comparsa and know the basic rhythm but not any breaks. Be great if you could help start me off.

thanks for your time

There are a lot of them brother, the Comparsa were differents percussion-dancers groups which put together a coordinated pattern for the purpose of compiting for the first place during the (Cuba's Carnavales) and each Barrio(including mine(Los Sitios) would create one which could be modify throught the years for the purpose of updating.(the same concept of differents School of Samba in Brazil).

Yes I was born in Cuba, been in the music for 37 years and 23 in the U.S.A.I have into my percussion instruction a Samba Bateria with a few stuff which I added to it.the Cuba Comparsa patterns could be played with Brazilian percussion which is extensive.I like Cuba too,I just don't like the 'System'.
