Those look great, I like the colors the way they are.
The different heights are because they are different models.
The one on the left looks like a "Salsa" model, and the one on the right
looks like a Patato model to me.

I would have left them with the original colors. The 2 tone pair are the original model, made in the 70's in Palisades Park, New Jersey. The all red is a Patato model made in the 80's in Garfield, New Jersey. Originals came in 28" and 29", Patatos came in 30" height. Nice bunch.

Abakua,

The picture you posted (Excuse my ignorance, but I do not recognize him) of a conga that looks like it has seen every hard rumba in the world and is still singing for a maser's touch--- kinda says it all for those so concerned with the right look , color matching, etc....

Here's a promo pic from the great band Pink Martini from Portland.
They've got a legit percussion section, which from the looks of it are into
fine congas and drums. Can you find and identify all the drums in the picture?

Tradition is not the custody of ashes but the propagation of fire.

The conga behind the bongocero is without a shred of a doubt a classic King Conga, just like your name.
