Cachimbo album !

Hi Folks , just wanted to post and let you all know i have recieved the master of our first album with my band Cachimbo " Si Emi Ilu ( spirit of the drum ) . Have to say im very happy with results .It was mastered by a guy in Miami called Bob katz who im sure some of you have heard of .He did a great job , sounds very warm and spacious with the tones of the congas and bata singing out ! Will post up some tunes on our myspace soon so you can come and have a listen and let me know what you think

Congratulations Niall! I am looking forward to hearing your album. When will CDs be available?
Yeah, Bob Katz is one of the top mastering engineers in the US. He also wrote a great book, "Mastering Audio", which is the clearest nonmathematical book on digital recording that I have read.

Hi jorge . The cd will be on sale in a couple of wks , just waiting on art work etc to be finished .
