:D Hey folks had to share with everybody that i picked up some great deals in a music shop in Dublin . They were selling off all there pearl percussion gear at % 50 off and less . Picked up some pearl folkloric bongo and a great set of marc quinones signature timbal ! All for € 349 :D Still havent had a chance to play the instruments much but i couldnt let them sit there at that price . Any thoughts on these drums guys ? Cheers , Niall .

Congrats, brother, the Pearl folkloric bongos have a really good reputation!
They should sound great right out of the box.
BTW: Happy Easter! You must be smiling like the Easter bunny :)

Haven't played their folkloric drums, but their timbals are very solid!

You know, sometimes it is about the REALLY important priorities... Seriously, knowing about Pearl´s regular prices that deal of yours really was worth it.
Similarly, I could not say no to a conga/tumba couple of Raúl congas lately - those Brazilian vintage drums speak a language of their own. The bongó has been a mind-boggling experience, so i thought giving the conga section a try should be fine. Whoosh, away were my savings
But then, that was a chance in a lifetime too.
And I am hopping up and down with excitement...
Peace & drum
