Fiberglass Sonoc?

I ran into this drum recently, sonoc style hardware but 100% fiberglass.
Has anyone seen something like this before?

I've never seen any personally, but I know on the rhythm traders website they have pictures of fiberglass drums being made at th efactory.

These exact red fiberglass Sonocs where all over Havana when I
visited Cuba in 1989. Nothing special in their sound or quality.
They tended to be used by schools.
At that time the Sonoc production of their better wood congas was limited.
The Sonoc factory had opened and closed a few times.
These red fiberglass were very lightweight compared to LPs.
The top Cuban players were craving for LPs instead.
